This is a great book for helping your child to learn the order of numbers from 1 - 70. My son did fine with the 1 - 20 range. Then when we went to the 20 - 30 range, he seemed to get confused about how the number sequences worked. We went to another connect the dot workbook to do more practice with 1 - 30 numbers. We also played number games to help him grasp the pattern for how numbers increase. After he grasped this concept, we were able to continue just fine with the book.Rating: 5 / 5

my 4 year old twins have enjoyed the Kumon books but this one has been their favorite. My son's coloring detail and enjoyment of coloring has increased enormously. It opened up his desire to color. They both were familiar with their numbers but only to 12. This jumped us to the next level.Rating: 5 / 5

Bought this for my son and he just loved it. Now I have to buy a similar one which they sell for the same age range. I'm so excited that he loves it so much. Keeps him busy for hours and he runs to show me each one after completion. Good JobRating: 5 / 5

I just love the Kumon Math books though I have to admit I have never tried the ones related to writing/reading. This book is especially good as the color by number pictures are really fun for those just beginning to recognize both numbers and color words. And the pictures when completed are of fun, familiar objects. The dot to dot activities are not quite as good as the color by number.Rating: 4 / 5

My daughter is a Kumon student in a math center in town. She absolutely adored this book and Kumon has a fantastic way of teaching numbers without challenging them too much or making it boring.Rating: 5 / 5

Ahhhh....the sound of a satisfied Plumfreak! My take on VISIONS-is that it was Just the Perfect Way to step into the Holiday Spirit! Diesel-just 'enough' to steam up my windows! Now-I'm Really Ready to hit the malls and look out for pointy ears! Happy Holidaze Steph, Lulu, Connie, Grandma Mazur and especially Janet for bringing them all into my little house in the woods! What a holiday celebration we could have!Rating: 5 / 5

This was a very sad effort from Janet. A wee bit too much egg nog while writing this one? The whole Diesel fantasy character was a bit over the top. There was no good mystery to solve, no Ranger (whaah!) and precious little of Morelli or Lula. Hard Eight wasn't quite up to par either. Please Janet, get back to how the books used to be. You aren't tapped out yet are you?Rating: 2 / 5

Get ready to suspend belief and enter the crazed world of Stephanie Plum and family. This time beings of another 'type' join the world of the Burg along with a pregnant sister Valerie, the nervous father-to-be, Grandma's new studmuffin, and the rest of the usual cast. There's not much of a story and this book requires a lot of suspension of reality, but if you are a Plum fan, don't miss it. The mystery definitely takes a back seat to the humor and a sense of holiday mischief.Rating: 4 / 5

The holiday season always brings a slew of new holiday books and even older and familiar titles are prominently displayed at this time of year. While some authors names aren't familiar household names, in recent years, it is apparent that popular authors from other genres are also writing or dashing off holiday novels. In the past couple of years Mary Higgins Clark, John Grisham, Jan Karon have all published books with a holiday theme. And in 2002, David Baldacci's book The Christmas Train, was published in time for the holidays along with Esther's Gift by Jan Karon. And now for those lovers of Stephanie <br>Plum and her wild and wacky family, Janet Evanovich has joined the ranks of holiday writers with her newest book, Visions of Sugar Plums. Now before I go any further into this review, I must admit I only read one Stephanie Plum book, One for the Money, and found it an OK read. For some reason, I never had the urge to continue with this series. Then recently I read Full House, Evanovihch's recently reissued romance novel and found it rather mediocre. Still, I didn't want to discount Evanovich for future reads and thought that many another go around would have me enjoying Ms. Plum a well liked character so I read Visions of Sugar Plums. And while I wish I could say this book was a worthwhile read or even an enjoyable holiday book it was sadly mediocre in comparison to other holiday books like Skipping Christmas by John Grisham, The Christmas Tree by Julie Salomon, Esther's Gift by Jan Karon or an old favorite A Cup of Christmas Tea by Tom Hegg. While I found parts of the book laugh out loud funny and some of the characters endearing there just wasn't enough in this book for me to rate it higher or even consider rereading year after year the way I do with some holiday books. Bottom line is if you have enjoyed the character of Stephanie Plum in the past will have to patiently wait for Evanovich's next book featuring this character.Rating: 3 / 5
